PureSine is a tone and frequency generator app for Android, published by 191Labs LLC ("we"). This policy explains what information the app handles. The short version: PureSine does not collect personal data, has no accounts, and shows no ads.
Information we collect
None. PureSine has no sign-in or accounts, and it does not include advertising, analytics or crash-reporting software. The developer does not run any servers for the app and does not receive information about you or how you use it.
Information stored on your device
To work, the app saves a few things locally on your phone:
- Your settings (for example theme, default tone, Gentle fade and output tips).
- Your saved presets, favorites and custom tones.
- Your listening history and the free tier's daily listening time.
- Whether Pro is unlocked on this device.
This data stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app. You can clear your history in the app at any time. If you have Android's device backup turned on, Android may include this app data in your Google account backup; that backup is handled by Google under Google's privacy policy, and the developer cannot access it.
Purchases
The optional PureSine Pro unlock is sold through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment and handles your payment details; the app never sees them. The app only receives confirmation from Google Play that Pro has been purchased so it can unlock it, and checks that again when you tap Restore. Google's handling of purchase information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

PureSine does not request access to your location, microphone, camera, contacts, photos or files. To show output tips, the app checks which audio output is in use (for example the phone speaker or a connected Bluetooth speaker); this is read on the device and never leaves it.
Children
PureSine is intended for a general audience ages 13 and up and is not directed at children under 13. The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
